Some may be installed using glue but some are available to be installed without sticking it to the base floor. Without glue, you can easily take off the flooring when you decide to change it or move out of a place. To easily install this type of flooring into your living space, follow these steps.

1. Remove all furniture from the floor space that you are installing the flooring. Clean up any debris and dust from the whole area and allow it to dry if you used wet cleaning materials.

2. Lay out the first strip of padding. Lay only one strip to avoid getting the whole thing dirty. Trim around cabinets and wall moldings.

3. Once the first padding is laid, pull it away from the wall approximately ΒΌ inches to make way for the expansion gap.

4. Cut the tongue off one side of the laminate tile flooring and lay it near the edge of the wall. Lay down the next tile with the tongue over the groove of the first one. Gently hammer it in with a rubber mallet to lock them in place. Repeat this process for locking tiles together. While doing this, make sure to place spacers along the wall as you go.

5. Once you have filled out one section pad with tiles, lay out another. Attach the two padding with the adhesive strip on the ends. Duct tape is an adhesive tape alternative that you can use. Continue tapping the tiles together until you have covered the whole area.

Laminate tile flooring is a cheap and easy-to-install alternative to getting new wood or stone floors. Shop around to find the right type for your renovation.
