I’ve been buying from closeouts for years now, and I know first-hand there are many decent–sometimes, even great–items that discerning buyers can snap up.
Retailers hold closeouts for many reasons, but the most common is that they have run out of floor space. Rather than pay for the items to be stored at another warehouse elsewhere, they put up the merchandise for sale, at rock-bottom prices.
