We are going to briefly go over an easy way to remove the tiling from your bathroom floor. You should first decide whether or not removing the tile is actually necessary. As long as the existing tile is level they can be tiled over quite easily and look just as nice as a fresh installation. If you feel you they need to be remove then we need to be sure to remove them without breaking away any of the level foundation underneath.

The first thing you want to do is grab a hammer and start breaking the tiles into small pieces. This makes them easier to remove by taking the pressure off of them. It is a good idea as you remove each piece to spray a bit of washing-up spray beneath them as you lift them away.
Once the tile is broken it is important to sweep up any dust, grit, or sharp pieces. Cleaning up as you go will not only stop the clutter before it cumulates but will also prevent you from cutting yourself on any sharp pieces left behind. It simply makes the job easier.
Now, you can start removing all the tile piece by piece and disposing of it properly.
Next, you will have a lot of cement left over from the tiles. It is extremely important to make sure all of this is removed since any chunk of cement left behind can cause the next floor to be uneven and possibly crack. The easiest way to remove it is by wetting it down with water and allowing it to soak a bit before using a shovel or spade to carefully chisel it all away.
Finally, with all the tile debris and cement cleaned up and out of the way, you?ll need use a wire brush to brush the newly revealed surface to a clean finish. If possible, it?d be to your advantage to rent a commercial buffer machine as it works wonders in giving your floor that professionally smooth feel.
